What to put on a receipt
A receipt is the customer's proof that they paid, and your proof that you were paid. Keep it short and complete.

Your business name and contacts
Who received the money, with a phone or email so the customer can reach you.

A receipt number
A running number such as REC-001. It lets you find the receipt later if there is ever a question.

The date of payment
The day the money was received, not the day the receipt was typed.

Who paid
The customer's name, so the receipt belongs to the right person.

What it was for
List the items or the service paid for, with quantities and prices.

The amount and how it was paid
The total received, and whether it was cash, mobile money, bank transfer or card.

A balance if it was a part payment

Is this receipt maker really free?+
Yes. Make as many receipts as you need within the daily limit and download each as a PDF. There is no sign-up. A small "Made with Kede" line sits at the bottom.
Is this receipt a tax or EFRIS receipt?+
No. It is a simple business record that proves a payment. It is not a government fiscal receipt. If your business must issue fiscal receipts, keep using your approved system as well.
Do you save the receipt?+
No. The receipt is made once, sent to you as a PDF, and then forgotten. To keep a record of every receipt, start free in the Kede app.
Can I use my own currency?+
Yes. It starts with the currency of your country and you can change it.
Can I write a receipt for part of a payment?+
On this free page the receipt shows the full total as received. The Kede app records part payments against an invoice and shows the balance.
How do I send the receipt?+
Download the PDF and send it on WhatsApp or email. In the Kede app you can send a link that opens the receipt and also add the income to your Tracker.
