What to put on an invoice
A good invoice gets paid faster because the customer never has to ask what it is for. Here is what every invoice should show.

Your business name and contacts
Your name, phone, email and address, so the customer knows who to pay and how to reach you. Add your tax number if you have one.

A clear invoice number
A running number such as INV-001, INV-002. It helps both of you find the invoice later, and tax offices expect it to be unique.

The date, and when payment is due
Put the issue date and a due date. A due date like "14 days from today" is easier to follow than "pay soon".

Who you are billing
The customer's name and, if you have them, phone and address. For a company, use the company name.

Each item, quantity and price
One line per item or service with the quantity, the price of one and the line total. Short, plain descriptions work best.

Discount, tax and the total
Show any discount and tax as their own lines, then one bold total. The customer should see the amount to pay at a glance.

How to pay you
Write your mobile money number, bank account or other ways to pay. This is the line that turns an invoice into money.

Is this invoice maker really free?+
Yes. You can make as many invoices as you like within the daily limit, and download each as a PDF. There is no sign-up and no watermark that blocks the invoice. A small "Made with Kede" line sits at the bottom.
Do you save my invoice or my customer's details?+
No. The invoice is made once, sent to you as a PDF, and then forgotten. Nothing is stored. If you want your invoices and customers saved, start free in the Kede app.
Can I use my own currency?+
Yes. It starts with the currency of your country and you can change it to any currency in the list.
Can I add my logo or a signature?+
